Focusing on U.S. Immigration Law Only

We have years of experience representing clients in U.S. Immigration Matters only.  Unlike other law firms, we accept only immigration cases, so we can focus on this complex area of the law.  Attorney Pauline Schwartz has served as an immigration lawyer since 1995, and has represented hundreds of clients in immigration matters across the United States, in Immigration Courts and before the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and overseas at U.S. consulates.  Attorney Schwartz also represents clients in appeals and motions to reopen before the BIA - Board of Immigration Appeals and before Federal Courts.

After 15 years of working as a lawyer in several small immigration law firms in the D.C. metro area, I decided to open my own immigration law practice in June 2011.

My Firm represents individual and corporate clients worldwide in all types of U.S. Immigration Law matters, including nonimmigrant visas, investment-based visas, family and employment-based immigration (green cards), citizenship matters, asylum, deportation/removal defense, motions to reopen and appeals.

We are currently representing clients in bond and removal proceedings in Immigration Courts nationwide as well as in appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals.

We also co-counsel with criminal defense attorneys in all jurisdictions to provide opinion letters and advice to your foreign clients regarding the immigration consequences of potential criminal convictions and "immigration-friendly" pleas.  If removal proceedings cannot be avoided, we will represent the individual with a creative and aggressive immigration removal defense strategy.

Immigration Lawyer Pauline Schwartz is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia (Washington, DC) and is authorized to practice immigration law in all U.S. states and overseas.  Our law practice is limited to U.S. immigration matters only.
